A calendar in MuseRelay is the public page where your customers can pick a day and time and book an appointment with you. Each calendar represents a service or type of attention: it can be a consultation, a class, a meeting or any activity with a fixed duration that needs to be scheduled in advance.
What makes up the booking system?
The system has three pieces that work together:
- Your organization — your MuseRelay account. It has a public root URL (for example
muserelay.com/book/my-business) and defines the default regional settings (time zone, language, time format). - Your calendars — each one has its own public URL, its own available hours and its own look. You can have as many as you need: one per service, per professional or per location.
- The booking widget — the public page your customer sees. It shows the available days and times, collects the visitor's details and confirms the appointment by email.
Full booking flow
- The customer opens the link — you share your calendar's URL by email, WhatsApp, your website or your social media.
- They choose an available slot — the system calculates in real time which slots are free based on your configured hours and the appointments already booked.
- They enter their details — name, email and any other field you have configured.
- They confirm the booking — they receive a confirmation email with the summary and, a calendar file attached (.ics) to add the appointment to Google Calendar, Outlook or Apple Calendar.
- You receive the notification — and the appointment appears in your panel under the corresponding calendar.
Calendars and AI agents
Each calendar can be connected to an AI agent. When a customer asks the chatbot "when do you have a free slot?", the agent automatically checks the availability of the assigned calendar and handles the booking without manual intervention. To enable this feature, go to your AI agent's panel and add the calendar in the Native tools section.
URL structure
Each calendar has a canonical URL made up of your organization's slug plus the calendar's slug:
muserelay.com/book/{organization-slug}/{calendar-slug}
Both slugs can be customized. If you change them, previous links keep working thanks to automatic 301 redirects.
