Create and configure your first calendar

ES EN

Creating your first calendar in MuseRelay takes less than 5 minutes. This guide takes you step by step from creating the calendar to sharing the link with your first customer.

Step 1 — Create the calendar

  1. In the side menu, go to Calendars.
  2. Click New calendar.
  3. Choose a template (for example "Standard appointment") or start from scratch.
  4. Type the calendar name — this name will appear in the booking widget your customers see.
  5. Click Create.

Step 2 — Set up the basic details

With the calendar open, go to the Config tab and fill in:

  • Description — briefly explain which service this calendar covers.
  • Appointment duration — how many minutes each booking lasts (for example 30 or 60 min).
  • Time zone — you can inherit it from the organization or assign a specific one to this calendar.
  • Cancellation phone and email — details shown in the emails to customers in case they need to cancel.

Step 3 — Define the available hours

In the Availability tab, set the days and time slots in which you accept bookings:

  • Enable the days of the week on which you work.
  • For each day, set the time range: for example, Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 14:00.
  • You can add exceptions (public holidays, vacations) in the Availability exceptions section.

Step 4 — Customize the look (optional)

In the Appearance tab you can add:

  • A subtitle and a welcome message that will appear in the widget.
  • Your business phone and address, visible in the widget footer.
  • If your plan allows it, turn off the "Powered by MuseRelay" footer.

Step 5 — Activate the calendar and share the link

  1. In the calendar list, make sure the calendar status is Active (green badge).
  2. Click the external link icon (↗) next to the calendar name to open the widget in a new tab and check that it looks right.
  3. Copy that URL and share it: on your website, in your email signature, on your social media or in the footer of your emails.
Do you want your AI agent to handle bookings automatically?
Once the calendar is created, go to AI agents → edit your agent → Native tools tab → enable the Calendar tool and select this calendar. From then on, the chatbot will be able to check availability and create appointments on your behalf.

Frequently asked questions

Can I have several calendars?
Yes, with no limit depending on your plan. Each calendar is independent, with its own link, hours and settings.
Can I change the calendar URL?
Yes, from the calendar's Config tab ("Public URL" field). Old links will keep working with an automatic redirect.
Do customers need an account to book?
No. The booking widget is completely public, with no sign-up.
Can I deactivate a calendar temporarily?
Yes, from the calendar list. If the calendar is assigned to an AI agent, you will first need to unlink it from the agent.
