MuseRelay respects your right to erasure of personal data (Art. 17 GDPR). This page explains what you can request, how to do it, and our response timeline.

1. Scope — what data you can request to delete

You can request deletion of personal data that MuseRelay holds about you across any of the following channels:

📱 WhatsApp
📸 Instagram
💬 Facebook Messenger
📞 Voice calls (VoIP)
📧 Email / support tickets

This includes: conversation history, messages, contact details (name, email, phone), calendar appointments, support tickets, and any other personal data linked to your identity.

Legal exceptions: We cannot delete data we are legally required to retain, such as billing records (6 years) or security logs (12 months). These are anonymised or kept disassociated from your identity.

2. How to request deletion

  • A) From your account Fastest
    If you have an account: Settings → Account → Delete my account and data. Deletion completes within 30 days.
  • B) By email
    Email us at privacy@muserelay.com with subject "Data Erasure Request Art. 17 GDPR" and a copy of your ID. We will respond within 30 days.
  • C) Form below
    Fill in the form on this page. You will receive confirmation by email.
  • D) Meta deauthorization WhatsApp / Instagram / Messenger
    Go to Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites → remove access for MuseRelay. We will receive the automatic notification and process deletion within 30 days.

3. Timeline and confirmation

We acknowledge your request within 72 hours. Effective deletion or anonymisation is completed within a maximum of 30 days from receipt (Art. 12.3 GDPR). For complex requests, we may extend the deadline up to 3 months with prior notice.

After processing, you will receive email confirmation with a tracking code.

5. Right to lodge a complaint

If you believe we have not handled your request correctly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Authority (AEPD) or your local supervisory authority.
