The emails your customers receive carry your brand, not the platform's. This guide explains what they see, how your brand looks and where to set it up.
Which emails carry your brand
Every email we send to your customers' users goes out with your brand. For example:
- Panel invitations and the sign-in details of a new customer.
- Notices about their account.
- Replies to the requests they send you from Support in their panel.
- System notifications and notices.
The emails your customers send to their own clients (for example, an appointment confirmation or a ticket notice) carry your customer's business name, and they do not mention the platform either.
How your brand looks
- With a logo: if you have uploaded a logo in your panel's customisation, the email shows your logo at the top and your brand colour in the top strip and the buttons.
- Without a logo: the email shows your brand name in text, in your colour.
- Sender: the sender name is your brand. If your customer replies to the email, the reply reaches you, at your account's contact email.
- The platform's name never appears in emails to your customers, neither in the body nor in the footer.
Links take them to your panel
The links in these emails take them to your panel, on your domain (for example app.yourbrand.com), not to the platform: the logo, a new customer's sign-in and the link to see the reply to a support request.
Emails we send to you
The emails the platform sends to you as a reseller (for example, the reply to a support request you open with us) carry the platform's logo: in that case it is us writing to you. The link to see the reply still takes you to your panel.
Summary
| Who receives the email | Which brand they see |
|---|---|
| Your customer, if you have uploaded your logo | Your logo and your colour |
| Your customer, if you have not uploaded a logo | Your brand name in text, in your colour |
| You, as a reseller | The platform's logo |
Where to set it up
In your account menu, Reseller → Custom panel:
- In the Custom panel tab, your brand name.
- In the Branding tab, your logo and your main colour.
Optional: your emails from your own domain (100% your brand)
Without any setup, emails to your customers already carry your brand, but they go out from our sending system. If you also want them to come from your own domain (for example notices@yourbrand.com), you can connect your own mail server:
- In Reseller → Custom panel, Email tab, enter your email provider's SMTP details (server, port, username, password and sender) and press the test button.
- From then on, emails to your customers go out from your domain. The ones we send to you still come from the platform.
- Set up your domain correctly with your email provider (SPF and DKIM records) so emails do not end up in spam.
- If your server fails (for example, because you changed the password), the email goes out through our system so it is not lost, and we let you know so you can check it.
It is optional: if you do not set it up, everything keeps working the same. More detail in How a reseller works, section 10.
